4 nice baking potatoes
seasoned salt
butter buds
onions ( I cheat and use dried onion pieces)
Brown onions and put to side( when in a hurry I just put dried onion pieces in a little canola oil and let sit)
Little canola oil to cover bottom of pot. Slice potatoes into medallions -
stack around bottom of pot slightly overlapping -
when you get a whole layer add layer of onions and season salt - keep layering -
I add a little oil and onion over each layer with season salt.
Cook on medium to medium high heat for about 30-40 minutes
until potatoes start sticking and they start getting mushy ( stir occasionally).
Mom told me how to do this - but I am sure this is not exactly how she does it.
Mom said Gampy used to fix these alot.
