Ingredients:
1 cup Crab Meat
1/2 cup chopped Green Onion
1 stalk chopped Celery
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
3 slices Swiss Cheese or 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese
2 Tbsp. Oleo (Margarine)
Black Pepper to taste
3 Avocados cut in half not peeled
Instructions:
Melt oleo (what we call margarine in New Orleans) in a skillet. Sauté onion and celery. Remove from heat and gently stir in the crab meat and mayonnaise. Season with the pepper. Fill the cavity of each avocado with the mixture and top with ½ slice of cheese. Bake at 350°F about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. Note: 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese can be used instead of swiss. Cheese may be shredded.
