Cole Slaw

Ingredients:

1 qt. shredded cabbage

1 shredded carrot

1 shredded onion

1 shredded bell pepper

1 c. sugar

1 c. white vinegar

1/2 tsp mustard seed

1/2 tsp celery seed

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp turmeric

Instructions:

Mix sugar and vinegar with the next three ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour over the shredded cabbage mixture and stir. Let cool then refrigerate. This keeps well in refrigerator for days.
