Ingredients:
3 lbs. Ground Chuck (can even use ground turkey to be healthier)
1/2 cup grated Italian cheese
1/2 cup grated Italian Bread Crumbs
3 cloves Garlic
3 Eggs ( 1 per pound)
2 tps Salt
2 tbs Pepper
3/4 cups Water
Parsley ( to taste)
shake or two of Red Cayenne Pepper (for flavor)
Kitchen Bouquet
Instructions:
Mix all together - shape into meatloaf - cover with kitchen bouquet. Cover with Aluminum Foil.
Bake at 350 °F in oven (150°F on meat thermometer). Usually I bake it at least 1 1/2 hours then - check middle bake until pink is gone.
Red Gravy
Brown 1 onion, parsley, 2 cloves garlic, a little oregano - 1 large can of tomatoes. (put in blender/ consistency you like )
Note: I just started using chopped canned tomatoes and mixing and my family likes it better then when blended.
Cook on low for about 1 hour.
Johnny's Mom stuffs chickens with this at Christmas. I have made meatloaf, hamburger patties (they cook quicker), and even meatballs.
