Ingredients:
1 pound bacon, cut in half
1 pound pitted dates
8 oz blue cheese
Toothpicks
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375o F. Slice dates in half and open them up. Pinch off pieces of blue cheese and stuff them into the center of the dates. Close the date and wrap with a half-slice of bacon. Secure dates closed with a toothpick. Line a baking dish or baking sheet (with sides) with parchment paper or foil. Arrange the dates on the dish. Bake for 30 – 40 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
